FERTIMANURE IN THE MANURESOURCE CONFERENCE

One of FERTIMANURE’s objectives is the organisation of 4 large-scale events to promote the project’s results. The 5th edition of ManuREsource, that was supposed to take place in  November 2021 in the east of The Netherlands, was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will now take place on the 11th and 12th of May 2022 in the same location.

At the ManuREsource conference, FERTIMANURE will host:  ​
Two Parallel Sessions: ​
> Parallel Session 1: “European nutrient balance landscape and market opportunities for closing nutrient loops”​

> Parallel Session 2: “Innovative manure processing plants for the production of marketable bio-based fertilisers”​   ​

Two Round tables​
> Topic for round table 1: “What constitutes a bio-based fertiliser? What is the definition and purpose of a tailor-made fertiliser? Arriving to a consensus on definitions and terminologies which will help define manure or other organic-based fertilising products in the market.”​    

> Topic for round table 2: “Product Category Rules for bio-based fertilisers. In search of a consensual approach”​ .

The other 3 large-scale events will be organised in Poland, Catalonia, and Argentina.
