FERTIMANURE HOLDS ITS 4TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY (GA) ON 10 MAY 2022

In order to provide a brief overview of the technical advancements of the FERTIMANURE project up to the end of April 2022 within the framework of its 8 Work Packages, FERTIMANURE held its 4th General Assembly on 10 May 2022.

Organised with the participation of its 20 partners (located across 7 EU Countries, Argentina, and Chile) in the historic town of Den Bosch in the Netherlands on a face-to-face basis, and virtually, the General Assembly presented the perfect opportunity to address a number of developments, including the launch of the Biorefine Cluster Europe community group initiative, discuss the events to be organised in Europe and in the CELAC bloc, review the pilot plants, their technologies and the relevant field trials, and assess Life Cycle Analysis (LCA).

Moreover, in the framework of the General Assembly, the FERTIMANURE partners also enjoyed two highly interesting visits in The Netherlands:

1. The FERTIMANURE on-farm pilot at the Arjan Prinsen Farm producing biobased and tailor-made fertilisers based on own cattle manure (video available here )

2. One of the pilots of the H2020 SYSTEMIC project located at large-scale demonstration biogas plant Groot Zevert Vergisting with manure as major input in the production of biobased fertilisers (video available here)
